課題 Model Essay 7
エッセイ(Written by Saya)

The bar graph shows the statistics of daily fast food consumption for men and women in four age categories in 2015.
According to the graph, men in the youngest age group between 18 and 34, had the highest fast food consumption at 17%. However, the percentage significantly dropped until the eldest age group, 65 (+), reached the lowest at 5%. From the highest point, there was a large drop in size by 6% to age 35-49 age group. While age 35-49 and 50-64 age groups had a similar rate, the drop between age 50-64 and over 65 was significant at 4%.
Similarly, women had a descending order based on their age, however, the percentages were nearly 1% less than their male counterparts. The youngest female age group consumed fast food the most at 16% of daily calories while the eldest group had just a quarter of the youngest people’s consumption.
In conclusion, this essay has analyzed that younger people eat more fast food than older people. This trend is equally shown among both genders, but female consumption was slightly less than males.
